You can set up the cloaking while creating a bundle. The first thing during the Cloaker setup is the URL parameter, our system is added by default and it's recommended not to edit this as editing in this id will create issues while doing the tracking of your cloaking campaign.
Then you’ve two options for the SafeSite. You can pass your own URL as a safe page for bots and Facebook Moderators or you can create a SafeSite using our system.
You need to give a keyword for the safesite content in netlify Safe-site. It’s recommended to give a keyword related to your campaign and our system will automatically create a complete landing page using that keyword.
After the keyword, there will be a custom subdomain which will be created with the netlify main domain. You can leave it empty and our system will automatically create this subdomain for you.
You need to select the Cloaker domain which you loaded in previous steps using post back email or any other services provider.
The last option is what to show your original audience, we’ve multiple options for that
No Cloaker:
If you don’t want to do any cloaking or redirection to a new page, you can use this option which is not recommended.
IFRAME:
An iframe is used to cover your safesite with your given iframe, it will remain on the same web URL and show your iframe over the safe site. IFRAME is not recommended if you’re using any CMS like WordPress or Shopify etc.
Content Replacement:
Content replacement is the method of replacing all the dummy content of your safesite with your own content. You need to have little knowledge about the coding to use this feature as you need to pass #LINK# inside your code
Redirect:
Redirect is the simple thing to do, all you need is to provide a URL of your landing page where you want your audience to get redirected. Whenever your original visitor comes to your safe site it’ll redirect to the given URL automatically.
